Harry Whitehead worked for many years as a location manager in the film business. He has masters degrees in creative writing and medical anthropology, and a PhD from Lancaster University. He has had a number of short stories and articles published, and teaches creative writing at the University of Leicester. The Cannibal Spirit is his first novel.
