Johanna Skibsrud is the author of two collections of poetry. The Sentimentalists, her first novel, was awarded the 2010 Scotiabank Giller Prize, Canada's most prestigious literary award. Originally from Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Skibsrud currently lives in Tuscon, Arizona.
